Jewelry Care How do I care for my iGi jewelry pieces? 

Jewelry should always be treated with great care, regardless of the material. However, 925 silver can tarnish over time, and it’s normal for gold-plated pieces to gradually lose their color.

To preserve the beauty and fine details of your iGi jewelry, please avoid exposing your pieces to:

  • Saltwater
  • Chemicals and household products
  • Cosmetics or perfumes that may damage the finish
  • Extreme temperatures

Always store your jewelry in the original box or pouch to prevent chains from tangling. Clean your pieces regularly with a soft cloth.

Shipping & Delivery How long does delivery take?

 We process orders within 1–3 business days (longer for custom or limited-edition pieces). Shipping to mainland Portugal takes 2–5 business days via CTT or our partner carrier. For the islands and international destinations, expect 5–15 business days. Do you offer free shipping? Yes, we offer free shipping on orders over 100€ in mainland Portugal and Spain.  If there are customs and taxes are the customers responsibility otherwise countries outside of the EU will be additional costs!

Returns & Exchanges What is your return policy?

 We accept returns within 14 days of receipt (in accordance with Portugal’s right of withdrawal). The item must be unworn, in new condition, with original packaging and tags intact. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in cases of our error or defect.

For exchanges or refunds, email us at info@igijewelry.com with a photo of the piece and your reason. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

Materials & Quality What is 925 silver?

 925 silver (also known as sterling silver) contains 92.5% pure silver plus alloys for added durability. It is the worldwide standard for high-quality jewelry. It may naturally oxidize (tarnish) over time — this is completely normal and part of the charm of handmade pieces.

Are the pieces handmade?

 Yes! Every iGi jewel is crafted by hand in our atelier in Porto by Inês Girão. Small variations in details are normal and make each piece truly unique.

Customization & Limited Editions Do you offer custom pieces?

 Yes, we love creating one-of-a-kind jewelry! Send us your idea via Instagram DM or email. Depending on complexity, there may be an additional fee and longer lead time.

Are the pieces limited editions?

 Many are! We focus on exclusivity — some are one-of-a-kind, while others are produced in small quantities.

Payments & Security What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), MB Way, Multibanco, Payshop, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

 We currently do not offer public visits, but we love sharing the creative process on social media! Follow @igi_jewelry for behind-the-scenes content.
